The issues of the legal character of chatbots are considered, including the possibility of using artificial intelligence in the legal environment. Existing intelligent programs that provide legal services are presented, the practice of application of electronic services is given. In addition, the study reflects the identified problems of determining the legal status of the chatbot as a person of the organization that uses it.
